THE STORY

“WHAT REMAINS"

There are moments when something leaves and I keep searching for it where it used to be. A memory, a person, a part of myself. As if finding it again could somehow make everything exactly as it was.

What Remains began when I stopped looking only at what was missing and started wondering what would remain. In the traces we leave behind, in the things we have loved, in what we have created and entrusted to time. Perhaps we are not only what we have lost. We are also everything that, despite it all, remains of us.”

THE ARTWORK

Material, colour, presence.

Every mark is created directly on the canvas. Colour does not simply reproduce an image: it builds a presence, made of layers, texture and small details visible only when you move closer to the painting.
