“BURNING BEAUTY"
There are fires that frighten me, and others I never want to put out. They are the ones that keep me awake, that make me desire, create, change. Sometimes they burn too fiercely and leave their marks, but without them I would feel as though I had lost something of myself.
Burning Beauty comes from that fire. From the part of us that refuses to be tamed, quietened, or made simpler just to be accepted. I don't want to hide what burns inside me. I want to let it live, because perhaps beauty isn't about remaining untouched. It's about continuing to burn.”
